Did you know the Space Science Center does daytime observing of the sky? View the Sun through a live feed from CCSSC telescopes as we hunt for evidence of solar cycle 25. Join us on Saturday, August 29 at 2 p.m. for a virtual observing session with our astro team, led by Dr. Rosa Williams. Follow along on Facebook or YouTube and interact with our astronomy team! They are eager to answer your questions.Note: Live telescope observing will be dependent on weather. If weather does not allow live feed, we will show off our images captured of violent activity from past solar cycles, and tell how such effects have affected us on Earth. This includes the story of the Great Carrington Event of 1859.
