Join us for a night of astronomical wonder on Saturday, September 11 at 7 p.m at the  CCSSC!  The evening will begin with a presentation on the Summer-Fall night skies in our Omnisphere Planetarium, hosted by Dr. Rosa Williams.  Afterward, weather permitting, we will bring telescopes to the CCSSC’s South Lawn to view the bright Waxing Crescent Moon, the planets Jupiter and Saturn, and even “dark-sky objects” like the Great Globular Cluster in Hercules, the Whirlpool Galaxy, and the Dumbbell Nebula.
