Free Astronomy Night

Join us for a night under the stars at Providence Canyon State Park at 8 p.m. EDT.   There will be a brief presentation by  Dr. Rosa Williams about objects in the evening sky this Spring.  Afterward (weather permitting)  we will move to our telescopes to view  “dark-sky objects” like the Pleiades and Beehive star clusters, a double cluster in Perseus, and the Orion and Flaming Star Nebulas.

Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs for more comfort. Main entrance is off Rte. 39C. Meet us at the field between playground and restrooms.
