Event Details

After a six-and-a-half-month journey to the planet Mars, the Perseverance Rover will land at Jezero Crater on February 18. This will be the first Mars rover landing since Curiosity over eight years ago!

What makes this mission unique?
– The first samples gathered for later return to Earth
– The search for evidence of past life on Mars
Ingenuity, the first helicopter drone delivered to another planet

Get ready to experience the rendezvous by joining the staff of the Coca-Cola Space Science Center for a special online event to preview this historic mission on Monday, February 15 at 11 AM EST. This is a virtual event, but there is a chance to join a small on-site audience!

We need your help to make this event a success! Send us your questions about Mars or the Perseverance Rover. Our panelists are looking forward to engaging with you. YOUR questions will guide the conversation. So, gain some background knowledge on Perseverance through this video and article. Then send us your questions via Facebook Messenger or an email to info@ccssc.org. Please note we may not be able to cover all questions.

Send in a question and have a chance to win three tickets for a small, socially distanced on-site audience. Include your name, email address, and telephone number when submitting your question. The first 10 people to submit a question with the proper information will be contacted for the opportunity to join the socially distanced live audience on Monday, February 15th at 11 AM EST.
