The CCSSC will hold a Virtual Astronomy Night on Saturday, April 18 at 9 pm. Dr. Rosa Williams of the CSU Space Science Center’s WestRock Observatory will conduct a virtual tour of the Northern night sky, including many constellations that can be seen year-round, and the importance of the North Star. She will show locations and telescope images of star clusters, nebulas, the Whirlpool Galaxy, and other objects.
